"BREEDING POWER AND QUALITY INTO EVERY CALF."

Registered Brahman and Brahman Cross Cattle

TEXAS ROSE CATTLE

MISS WJ SADIE 320/1 1032831

Sire:+MR. V8 458/7
Dam: +ASL MISS TOOTSIE

The story behind the purchase of this heifer is a unique one. Initially, the plan was to add another noble daughter to our herd for the purpose of adding more "power" into our Grey Brahman. After studying this cow it has been decided that she is the beginning our Red Brahman division. Her pedigree not only is strongly backed with noble on the top, but her dam carries genetics representing some of the most legendary sires in the Red breed. We are excited to use her as one of the foundational donors for our Red program.

SRS MISS WILLOW 456/8 (S) 985140

Sire:+MR. V8 458/7
Dam:MISS SRS POLLED GENEVIEVE (S)

"Willow's" sire needs no introduction being the legendary Noble himself, but what really sets her apart from other Noble daughters is that she is out of a scurred cow. Here at Texas Rose Cattle we are in the process of transitioning our herd from horned to polled and "Willow" gives us a unique opportunity to pursue this. She brings plenty of depth of body, balance, and femininity which will help in the development of our polled program.

MS. TEXAS ROSE 6 (S)  1030809

Sire: SRS MR COSTA 363/7 (S)
Dam: MS. TEXAS ROSE MARY 1

If there were to ever be a cow that keeps me up at night MS. TEXAS ROSE 6 would definitely be the one. Representing the very first breeding of "Costa" in our herd and of course he outdid himself as we have continued to see him do time and time again. This cow keeps me up late at night thinking of the breeding possibilities . She offers the true representation of Texas Rose Cattle's motto of "Power and Quality". Her dam was one of our most productive and successful cows tracing back to our original "Rosie" cow. Unfortunately, we lost this heifer's dam during the calving of her full sister.

MISS V8 714/7 "Southern Rose" 906087 AKA "Rosie"

Sire: MR. V8 463/6
Dam: MISS V8 271/6

MISS V8 714/7 aka "Rosie" for us here at Texas Rose is known as the cow that started it all. Southern Rose was the first cow we ever purchased and helped to pave the way to a life-long passion for agriculture. She set our standards high from the very beginning by having won her class at Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth livestock shows. While her genetic input on our farm may be small the impact she has had on all of our lives here at the ranch is monumental.

MISS J&M PAULA 551/2 1044133

Sire: MR. H BOGATA MANSO 253/1
Dam: JDH LADY SAV MANSO 733/0

In early 2024 we were excited to add two half sister powerhouses to our herd to add depth, volume and functionailty. Paula is a heifer we are excited to see add to the overall "Power" of our ranch as she is thick bodied, big topped and as we continue to improve our program she offers plenty of outcross genetics to freshen up our foundation lines.

JDH LADY KIMMIE MANSO 869158

Sire: JDH BOONE DE MANSO

Dam: JDH MISS DANICA MANSO

For a cow purchased as an 11 year old from the Sexing herd Dispersal "Kimmie" continues to thrive and be a very productive asset to our ranch. She has produced consistently quality heifer calves time and time again. She may not have many more calves left in her but her legacy will continue for generations to come.

COWS

Here is a highlight of our best cows on the ranch. This is not a complete list of our cow herd just a spotlight of cows we have used as donors or plan to in the future.

A stunning female with lots of length of body and fluidity when on the move. MS. TEXAS ROSE 3 is out of our oldest productive cow and we hope she continues in her Dam's footsteps as she progresses in our herd.

MISS J&M ZOLA 579/2 1054565

Sire: MR. J&M DOUGLAS 925/6
Dam: JDH LADY SAV MANSO 733/0

Zola besides being a half sister to Paula is a heifer that we are the most excited about joining our program. She brings more depth, power and length of body than we've seen in a long time. She is extremely flexible and structurally sound on the move. As an added bonus she brings lots of pigment to help strengthen our herds color profile.
